Omni

Project Scope

a start to finish product. Concept, script/storyboard, illustration, animation

Omni came to us looking to create a short video that would best explain investing. They initially were interested in a talking heads style video. While we were happy to appease, we thought of a slightly different approach. Their demographic was 20 something(s) professionals, whom they were trying to encourage to start saving. The tactic we came up with was more of a compare and contrast animation that was clean and straightforward. Basically a story of twins where one invests right away and their sibling waits (which ends up not being a great idea). They loved the idea and we thought the end product came out exactly the way we had envisioned.

Eyes on the Future

Project Scope

Concepts, illustration, and animation

This was a lot of late nights (meaning we didn't sleep). A local marketing firm came to us and said "We have a script, this much money, and we need a video by next Friday with 2 review sessions." We said, "Ok, fine, and no problem." They had the script and said they wanted us to put all the words on the screen so people could read along. From there we came up with this and they loved it. It was a sizzle reel opening to a business assoc. conference that really got people pumped up. We came up with all images, animation concepts, and overall flow to match the look and feel of what was asked of us. It was completed on time and only slightly over budget.

Ford Focus Time Lapse

Project Scope

Time Lapse, Editing, Video Production

Ford was giving away a Ford Focus at an art's festival. The twist was that a local artist would be painting the car and backdrop during a two day summer festival. Our job was to capture this with time lapse and then place it online as part of Ford's marketing campaign. However, we weren't happy with the overall presentation of just putting the video online without the story of the event being explained in a creative way using animated "splashes of paint" and writing on the screen with "graffiti". We were quite happy with the outcome and so was Ford corporate. We ended up receiving a rush order for DVD's that were being sent to an auto show in Dubai.

Black Velvet

Project Scope

Story Board Conversion, Animation, Transitions, Final Production.

For this Black Velvet project, they came to us with the storyboard in tact and we had to piece the scenes together including pacing and transitions. The end product was for in-house use to open a large meeting, talking about the "Black Velvet tour" and there focus was on "slower so we can see what's happening". Had this been a marketing piece, we would have liked to put our foot on the gas a bit more.

Rochester Is Open

Project Scope

Scripts, Video Shoot, Editing, and Production.

A new site to the Rochester, NY real estate market, Rochesterisopen.com, came to us to create a quick, light, and informative video about their website. They're actually a pretty cool little niche site that posts every open houses in the greater Rochester area. They came up with the script and we did the rest, even a little green screen. Yum.
